This is totally dependent on the type of floor finish that has been selected. After application of the final layer the floor must be left for at least 3 x 24 hours before subjecting the floor to mechanical loads and at least 7 x 24 hours before subjecting the floor to chemicals

FAQ´S
For 2-component products a minimum mixing time of 2 minutes must be observed. If a third component is added, then the mixture must be mixed for at least a further minute. Good mixing gives a homogenous product and produces the best final result.
For epoxy-based Qeshfloor products all RAL colours are generally available. However, the delivery time varies and is longer for special colours. Some RAL colours give poorer coverage and a third roller layer may be necessary. Not all RAL colours can be supplied for PU systems. See the product documentation for details of what colours can be supplied.
No, not all sub-floors have to be blasted. Qeshfloor recommends sanding or blasting dense, non-absorbent sub-floors. Contaminated sub-floors must be blasted / treated with a flame-gun in order to promote good adhesion of the products to the sub-floor.
The application time of a Qeshfloor product, namely the period during which the product can be used after mixing, differs for different products. For most Qeshfloor products the application time is at least 20 minutes. There are also products (1-component or water-based) that have a longer application time. See the product documentation sheets for details of the application times for specific products.
The most important differences are the layer thickness and the method of application. Cast floors have a minimum layer thickness of 1 mm and as their name suggests they are cast. Coatings have a maximum layer thickness of 0.1 to 0.3 mm and are applied using a roller.
In general Qeshfloor products are only suitable for indoor use. However some systems (pebble floors) can be combined with suitable sealant layers to give a finish suitable for outdoors.
This differs for different systems. Some systems can be applied in 2 days (coatings) whilst others may require 4 to 5 days (mortar floor with sealant layer).
No is the simple answer. However, most Qeshfloor industrial floors are resistant to chemicals to some extent and some more than others. There are always some substances and products to which a floor is not resistant. For specific applications of our floors and information about the resistance of the floors to chemicals see the chemical resistance lists on the website.
No, a primer is not always necessary. For sub-floors that are sturdy, permanently dry and clean a layer of primer is not necessary before applying a coating. For all other applications Qeshfloor advises applying a primer
